Blog Posts

Ensure that you have the following on your blog:

• Original photographs - some of you have taken over 200 photographs. Do not include all of these, instead upload the best ones - aim for 50 overall. 
• A post with your selected final images and why you have chosen them
• Evidence of editing the photographs - include the original image and the final edited image, and explain the process you have been through e.g. cropping, saturation, levels etc. 
• 1st draft of your magazine pages

We will be assessing each others 1st drafts and giving advice on how we can improve our pages. 

Deadlines for this half term

Monday 28th January : all photographs to be completed and uploaded to the blog
Friday 1st February : all editing of images to be completed and evidence uploaded to the blog
Tuesday 5th February: first draft of all pages completed, feedback to be given by the Friday
Friday 15th February: all planning and production work completed

Photography for Magazine

Following todays presentation I will expect all of your photographs to be taken and uploaded to the blog by Monday 28th January at the very latest. Obviously the sooner you take your images the more time you will have to complete the magazine pages and receive more feedback.

Make sure that you thoroughly plan your images and put the evidence on the blog:

• a recce of the locations you are using
• if you are shooting outside you will need to check the weather report
• organisation of your models
• list of locations
• list of props and costume you will need
• equipment booking
